It all begins with Petro Andrushchyshyn. In an era when private enterprise was forbidden, he still dared to dream of shaping the future through metal. His vision, carried in silence, became the seed of Metalworkshop.
Petro’s son Andriy joins him, and together they gather a small group of friends who share the same drive. Their first breakthrough? A simple Easter baking mold, but it turned into real profit and showed that precision could change lives.
The garage is no longer enough. The company moves to its first rented workshop in the center of Lviv. With 50 people on the team, Metalworkshop becomes not just a business, but a community built around skill and trust.
Maksym Andrushchyshyn steps in during one of the toughest chapters. Debt and uncertainty could have ended the story, but instead, new products were launched. A meat-cooking mold turned into the unlikely hero, pulling the company out of the financial pit.
A bold leap: the purchase of the first XT Laser (Raycus 750W) for €100,000. Risky? Absolutely. Transformative? Completely. This moment opens the door to new technology, new ambitions, and new markets.
With more powerful 1.5 kW and 3 kW lasers, Metalworkshop expands again. What once seemed impossible becomes routine — accuracy, speed, and scale all growing at once.
Over half a million dollars is invested into producing stainless-steel cookware. It was meant to be a flagship project, and more importantly, it proved that Metalworkshop was no longer a local workshop, but a player ready for bigger stages.
Alongside defense, growth doesn’t stop. The first HAAS ST20Y lathe arrives, marking Metalworkshop’s confident entry into turning and milling. The future is being forged, even in the hardest times.
A state-of-the-art DN Solutions DNM5700 machining center strengthens the CNC line. Every machine adds more precision, more possibilities, and more proof that Metalworkshop is writing a global story.
